The Sleeping Giant Foundation is a community regeneration charity based in the Upper Swansea Valley. We are named after the Cribarth mountain which, from the south, looks like a giant sleeping figure and represents the giant potential of this valley and our community.

The Sleeping Giant Foundation works to actively promote the area through community led projects in including projects in Oral History & Heritage, Media and Video, and Community Events including the successful Owain Glyndwr Festival.

We offer opportunities to people of all ages and backgrounds to be involved in these projects, which not only develop new and exciting skills, but can also lead to a more profound understanding of the diverse history and beautiful nature of our valley
